C.J. Gaddis and the Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to a 4-year contract. Gaddis played quarterback for Hoke High School.

Keisha Vanner raced across home plate to score the winning run on a clutch hit by Whitney Poe in the bottom of the 8th inning as the East Hoke Middle School girls' softball team won a thrilling 18-17 extra-inning victory over Sycamore. Cicley Hollingsworth pitched the entire eight innings for the Eagles and Jasmine Galbreth made a highlight defensive play as she dove to stop a hard-hit ground ball in the 6th inning. More ...

The 56th running of the Stoneybrook Steeplechase took place on Saturday at the Carolina Horse Park in Hoke County. A large crowd was in attendance as sunny skies compensated for the chilly temperature.
