Hoke Girls Basketball wins opener 65-48

The Hoke High School girls varsity basketball team got their 2007-2008 season off to a winning start with a 65-48 victory over the E.E. Smith Golden Bullls in Fayetteville on Tuesday evening. Hoke's Shamia Brown led all scorers with an eye-popping 36 points. Emily McLaughlin scored 12 points for the Fighting Bucks. The E.E. Smith team will get their opportunity to bounce back on Monday evening when they visit Hoke High School for another game against Hoke, beginning at 6:00 pm.

Hoke Boys Basketball drops opening game

The E.E. Smith Golden Bulls boys basketball team knocked off Hoke High School, 78-45, on Tuesday evening in Fayetteville. It was the season-opening game for Hoke, while E.E. Smith was playing in its third game of the season, improving their record to 2-1. The Hoke Fighting Bucks struggled with frequent turnovers and missed shots. More ...

Hoke football season ends at Wilmington

The Hoke High School football season came to an end on Friday night in the playoffs as Wilmington Hoggard defeated the Fighting Bucks by a score of 31-8. Hoggard remains undefeated for the 2007 season with an impressive 10-0 record.

Hoke football to face undefeated Hoggard

The Hoke High School football team knows they will face a tremendous challenge in the state playoffs, playing undefeated Wilmington Hoggard on Friday in Wilmington. Hoke will be trying to bounce back after losing soundly to Richmond on Friday. Hoggard has outscored their opponents 403-96 while racking up a 10-0 record this season.
