The Philadelphia Daily News website (www.philly.com) is reporting that C.J. Gaddis has signed a 4-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Gaddis, 22, played safety for the Clemson Tigers and was drafted in the fifth-round by the Philadelphia Eagles.

Gaddis played quarterback at Hoke High School and switched to defensive back at Clemson.

In addition, he was selected by the Seattle Mariners in the 2003 baseball draft, but decided to attend Clemson instead. He played outfield for the Clemson baseball team before deciding to concentrate on football.
