Lumberton's quick defense and aggressive base running overwhelmed Burgaw in Sunday's baseball tournament game in Eden, NC.
Fans are learning to keep their eyes on the field when Lumberton is playing. If you turn your head away from the field for just a few seconds you will miss a Lumberton baserunner dashing off to slide safely into the next base, or miss the Lumberton defense pulling off another fancy double play.
