Lumberton's Ryan Mayers hit a three-run homer in the 5th inning to help his team defeat Cliffdale in the opening round tournament game on Saturday by a score of 6-3.

Although the 5th inning started with Cliffdale holding a 3-0 lead, the home run by Ryan Mayers highlighted Lumberton's five-run inning that proved to be all the scoring they needed to win the game. Lumberton added an insurance run in the 6th inning enroute to their victory.
