Dilday, Elmore, and Quick blast home runs for Hope Mills

Elmore hits grand slam home run

The Hope Mills baseball team knocked the lights out of the Dunn team in Tuesday's tournament game in Dunn, NC. Although the rematch game between these teams was expected to be closely fought, the Hope Mills team shattered that perception in a hurry as they proceeded to blast the Dunn team out of the tournament with a 13-0 victory in five innings. While the Hope Mills' pitching and defense was methodically shutting down the Dunn hitters, the Hope Mills' batters clobbered the hapless Dunn defense with home runs by Zach Dilday, Justin Quick, and Caleb Elmore. The home run by Caleb Elmore was a bases-loaded grand slam.
