Chamber's Mullet Roast draws crowd

The Chamber of Commerce annual Mullet Roast drew a large crowd for the 2007 event held at West Hoke Middle School. The evening included an unplanned, spirited, and humorous debate about the competitiveness of new ethanol plants. Chamber introduces new Hoke teachers

The Hoke County Board of Education teamed up with the Raeford-Hoke Chamber of Commerce to introduce the public school system's new teachers in an event held at West Hoke Middle School. Many of the new teachers are from midwestern states, particularly Michigan and Ohio, highlighting the success of Hoke County's teacher recruitment effort.
